Tiffany Neely joined WMC Action News 5 in 2015 as a Multi-Media journalist and fill-in anchor in her hometown of Memphis TN.
Previously she covered Dyer and Haywood County as a general assignment reporter with WBBJ 7 ABC/CBS in Jackson, TN.
She's also an alumni of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, with a 2014 Master's Degree with a television journalism focus. While in Berkeley she worked as a reporter, anchor, producer, and videographer for CNS News broadcasted on UCTV. While in the Bay Area she worked as a paid intern for FOX affiliate news station KTVU in Oakland, CA.
In 2013 Tiffany spent the summer as an intern, weekend reporter, and on-call reporter for Action News Now, a CBS and NBC affiliate news station in Chico, CA.
She's a former multimedia reporter for the online hyperlocal news service "Richmond Confidential" that reports on the city of Richmond, California.
Before Berkeley, Tiffany graduated Cum Laude from the University of Memphis majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Political Science, and placed on the Dean's List.
In addition to being a full-time student, Tiffany also worked with a Memphis non-profit animal rescue organization, called the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. For two years she represented the organization during live media appearances every Friday on Action News 5, a NBC affiliate in Memphis.
From 2011-2012 Tiffany Neely also worked as an intern at Action News 5 where she expanded her editing, writing, and photography skills, while gathering experience in the field.
On the University of Memphis campus, she was an active member in the National Association of Black Journalists and the Society of Professional Journalists.She was also a producer, anchor, and reporter for the University of Memphis campus news station,"InSight News”.
